Threats from the East and the West

Zdroj: Fleet Sheet's Final Word Friday Edition (CZ) – Czechs are enjoying life while they can, but
in his keynote address at the fourth annual St. Adalbert Conference in
Prague last Sat. about greater Central European cooperation, Karel
Havlíček said the situation in the EU is critical. (He said he spoke English
out of respect for the foreign guests in attendance, but his speech isn't yet
available on the internet.) He called the EU a failure that refuses to admit
its mistakes or to try to correct them. Climate, energy and migration policies
are undermining business, he said, and are causing companies to flee. He spoke
about "pride before the fall."
